So good we Handwelted it twice! We have used our Double Don welt with the duck breasted blind welt sole, quite unique to us. The Vaquro Gil was created by a customer based in the US. It most certainly is one of the finest and unique boots we have ever made. Its looks stunning from every angle. Full-grain leather used for the upper and hardened cow leather sole. Im not sure how to label this boot its more western than a cowboy, it would work well as a motorcycle boot.

The name Vaquero is Spanish for cowboy. The first cowboys in Texas were Spanish Vaqueros. Men who raised cattle and lifestock on Ranches.  In Northern México that Vaquero tradition continues.  The Mexican Vaquero also known as Charro in other areas of México which is an important tradition.
